Blinds First Return Policy

Here at Blinds First, we want you to feel confident in your measurements before placing your order. That’s why we’ve provided measuring videos for both inside and outside mounted products. However, if you still feel apprehensive, rest assure, we have a guaranteed fit policy. When you buy any window treatment from Blindsfirst.com, we stand behind our commitment in product quality as well as service. So, if you are not completely satisfied, contact us and we will make every effort to correct the problem. If we cannot do this, we will authorize a return and provide you with shipping instructions for a complete refund.

Most of our customers (97%) do not have mismeasure. Since everything we sell is custom-made to order, please click here for our measuring videos.

  • Our Guaranteed Fit! If you made a measuring mistake, notify us within 15 days and get a new blind for free! You only pay if there’s a price difference between the old and new blind. Please see our policy details.
  • We offer up to 10 FREE swatches to make choosing your treatments easy. We do our best to ensure that the colors on our site are consistent with our inventory. However, discrepancies should be expected due to different dye lots. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns in the event of dissatisfaction with color or texture unless a sample is ordered first and it varies greatly from the swatch received.
  • Returns are accepted with prior authorization, within 30 days of receipt. Simply call us and we will issue a pick up of your product.
  • If a remake is required for an oversized product the freight charge will be required.

 

Details

Limit 4 blind remakes per household, (unless the error is ours, in which case, we’ll make it right!). No cash refunds, same-product same-color exchanges only, within 15 days of receipt of package. In some cases, we may trim your old blind to the correct size.

 

FAQ’s

Which products are guaranteed?

Everything we sell on the site. If you made an error, give us a call and we’ll send out a new blind (only one remake per item). We wont even ask for the old blind to be shipped back.

 

What’s NOT covered?

If the new blind or shade is a larger increment and costs more than the one that was previously ordered we will charge you the difference.

 

Can I change the type of material or product?

No, the new blind must be simply a remake of the existing blind or shade that is being replaced.

 

Color Accuracy

One of the benefits of being a manufacturer, is the ability to QC all of our materials and components. We check all materials against our master files when a delivery is made. Although we do our best to make sure that the colors shown on our web site match our current inventory, actual colors will vary. In addition, subtle color differences and textures may not be clearly depicted on some systems due to differences in monitors and/or swatches. Keep in mind that swatch samples and actual products may still have minimal color variations. We strongly suggest that when placing an order for a specific room full of product that you order at one time to avoid any differences in dye lots.
